I recently stayed at a delightful cottage in a beautiful location. It felt like a warm, cosy home away from home. The owners had thoughtfully provided everything we needed, including a generous welcome pack and eco-friendly products. We enjoyed exploring the nearby woods and taking walks to Symonds Yat rock and the River Wye. Despite the busy road nearby, the cottage maintained great privacy. I highly recommend this lovely cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Happy Cow is a charming cottage located right next to a fantastic golf course and surrounded by beautiful nature. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and enjoying activities like golfing, cycling, and fishing. The cottage itself is well-designed and full of character, making us feel right at home. The owners thoughtfully provided a welcome pack, adding a personal touch to our stay. it was a delightful experience for our family.
For dads, it would be great if there were more outdoor play equipment for the children.

The bathroom was amazing! It had both a bath and a shower, which suited our family perfectly. We could soak in the tub or take a quick refreshing shower after a long day of exploring. It was such a relief to have all the options in one bathroom. Loved it!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the shower. But hey, that's just me.

The cottage had a charming character and was well-designed. Lots of attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. the location was beautiful and peaceful, and we were not bothered by the nearby road or parking space. Two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs, were convenient. We also appreciated the delightful welcome gifts and card left by the owners.
Vehicle lights from the adjacent road shone into the upstairs bedroom, which was a bit annoying. A blackout blind would have been helpful.

The room at Happy Cow was cozy and comfortable, with a bathroom equipped with a bath or shower. I totally loved the soothing atmosphere which made me feel right at home. The beds were incredibly snug, ensuring a good night's sleep. As an adventure traveler, I was thrilled to have a comfortable space to relax and recharge.
The only downside for me was that the bathroom had only a shower. But hey, everyone's preferences are different, and some people might actually prefer it that way.

The cottage was beautifully designed with attention to detail, making it feel like a home away from home. the welcome pack provided by the owners was thoughtful and generous. the location of the cottage was peaceful and offered plenty of great walks in the nearby woods.
The proximity to a busy road was a downside, especially when a large lorry got stuck outside early in the morning, causing noise disturbance. the lights from vehicles on the road shone directly into the upstairs bedroom, making it difficult to sleep.
